<p>This service allows holders of a military, PSP or GNR license to request their exchange for a driving license, for the categories for which they are qualified.</p>

Carry out the service at a RIAC store

What I need

    <ul>

                <li><a href="https://lr-riac.azores.gov.pt/documents/d/guest/requerimento-modelo-imtt" target="_blank">Model 1-IMTT;</a></li>

                <li>Certified copy of the driving certificate (can be authenticated upon presentation of the original);</li>

                <li>Document proving that the holder is in service or that two years have not passed after obtaining leave, leave from service or after moving to availability or reserve, or to the situation of pre-retirement or retirement;</li>

                <li>Certified photocopy of the military ID;</li>

                <li>Photocopy of identity card/Citizen Card;</li>

                <li>Photocopy of the Taxpayer Card;</li>

                <li>A color photograph;</li>

                <li>Medical certificate.</li>

When to do

    <p>The exchange may be requested from the moment of the award of the driving certificate and up to two years after obtaining a situation of leave or leave of absence or after moving to availability or reserve, or to the situation of pre-retirement or retirement.</p>
