This service allows you to apply for the renewal of a national Hunter License.
How and where to do
Carry out the service at a RIAC store
What I need
- Application signed by the interested party;
- ID document;
- Medical certificate;
- Certificate of Criminal Record;
- Hunter letter.
Service cost
- Renewal with presentation of the title - 13,22€;
- Renewal without presentation of the title - 25,25€;
- Renewal in exceptional period - 26,45€.

When to do
In the 12 months prior to the expiration of the hunter's license.
Within five years after the expiration date of the hunter's license, an exceptional renewal may still be requested, otherwise it will expire.

Validity of the National Hunter License
According to Decree-Law No. 202/2004, of 18 August, the National Hunter Licence is valid until the age of 60 and then for periods of 5 years.
Hunter Cards that have not expired on the date of entry into force of Decree-Law No. 202/2004, of 18 August (i.e. 23 August 2004) are automatically valid until their holder reaches the age of 60.
Regardless of whether the titles are valid, the hunter, if he or she wishes, may request the ICNF to replace his or her License, in order to adjust the validity period inscribed on it, with its effective validity.
