Pedido de 2.ª Via da Carta PIN_Request for 2nd copy of the PIN Letter
This service allows you to request a 2nd copy of the PIN letter to pick up the Citizen Card.
How and where to do
Carry out the service at a RIAC store
What I need
- Initial application/renewal file number;
- Civil Identification Number;
- Provide data relating to first names, surnames, date of birth and place of birth.
One of the following:

At any time (within 90 days of applying for the Citizen Card).

Average time to perform
- For delivery in mainland Portugal, the Autonomous Region of Madeira and the islands of S. Miguel and Terceira in the Autonomous Region of the Azores: 5 working days;
- For delivery to the islands of Faial, Pico, Santa Maria, Graciosa, São Jorge, Flores and Corvo: 7 working days.
