RIAC MOBILE expands services to Faial, Flores, and Santa Maria
RIAC – Integrated Network for Citizen Support extends the RIAC Mobile project to the islands of Faial, Flores, and Santa Maria.
After the initial launch on the islands of São Miguel and Terceira, the project is now being implemented on three more islands, bringing a more accessible and inclusive service.
In its mobile version, RIAC overcomes physical and circumstantial barriers, reaching citizens with reduced mobility or those institutionalized, who are unable to access the physical RIAC Shops or the interaction structures and means provided by the Regional Public Administration.
The mobile shop offers essential services, such as the renewal of the Citizen Card and the Portuguese Electronic Passport, among others.
RIAC Mobile teams operate with proper equipment to create a personalized service counter. They travel in low environmental impact electric vehicles to reach those who need it most.
Service is provided by appointment through the Citizen Support Line of the Azores Government, available free of charge at 800 500 501. The line is available from Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and on holidays from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The RIAC Mobile project is part of the Investment Program “APR + Acessível, inclusiva e aberta” (APR + Accessible, inclusive and open) of Investment C19-i06-RAA “Modernização e digitalização da Administração Pública – RAA” (Modernization and digitalization of Public Administration), Component 19 of the PRR - Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência (Recovery and Resilience Plan) – Azores.
