RIAC Mobile Project
RIAC Móvel (RIAC Mobile) Project, The Integrated Network for Citizen Support - RIAC Mobile servisse, is now available.
The service was created to reach all citizens who are deprived of access to the network of shops, as well as the structures and means of interaction provided by the Regional Public Administration.
The service is provided by a RIAC team, which will travel in an electric vehicle, technologically equipped for this purpose, enabling personalized service at the homes of citizens with reduced mobility, bedridden individuals, as well as in nursing homes, day centers, and citizens institutionalized in prisons.
This pilot project, which will extend to other islands, starts in this initial phase on the islands of São Miguel and Terceira.
The initiative is part of the investment program “APR + Acessível, inclusiva e aberta” (APR + Accessible, inclusive and open) of Investment C19-i06-RAA “Modernização e digitalização da Administração Pública – RAA” (Modernization and digitalization of Public Administration), Component 19 of the PRR - Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência (Recovery and Resilience Plan) – Açores.
To access the RIAC - Mobile service, an appointment request must be made through the Citizen Support Line of the Azores Government 800 500 501 (free). It can also be scheduled directly in our shops, through our social media on Facebook and Instagram, or through the chat on the riac.azores.gov.pt portal.
