New RIAC-RIAE Shop in São Jorge 

The new RIAC-RIAE space, located in the RIAC shop in the municipality of Velas, was inaugurated by the President of the Regional Government of the Azores. The ceremony took place as part of the Regional Government's Statutory Visit to the island of São Jorge.

The RIAC shop in Velas first opened in 2005, and with this renovation, it now combines citizen support services provided by RIAC with the services of RIAE – Rede Integrada de Apoio ao Empresário (Integrated Network for Entrepreneurs Support) featuring a dedicated service counter.

This is the third RIAC-RIAE shop to open in the Region. This new phase aims to concentrate services close to the population, leveraging existing infrastructure and resources.

Entrepreneurs, or future entrepreneurs, also have access to the Entrepreneur Support Line - 800 257 257, a free personalized service provided by specialists in various matters handled by RIAE and the Direção Regional do Empreendedorismo e Competitividade (Regional Directorate for Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness). It operates from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

In addition to its network of shops covering all municipalities in the Region, RIAC offers the Citizen Support Line of the Azores Government - 800 500 501 (free line), available from Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and on Sundays and holidays, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
