RIAC Shop Receives Payshop Award for the 3rd Consecutive Year

The RIAC Shop in Água de Pau, on the island of São Miguel, has once again achieved a level of recognition, being honored by Payshop, the payment services provider owned by the CTT Group.

 

This distinction reflects the performance and consistency of the RIAC Shop for the third consecutive year. Catarina Amaral received the award on behalf of the Shop, which, due to its competence and performance, rose to the podium as a “Top Partner 2024.”

 

Serving a community of around 3,000 residents, the RIAC Shop in Vila de Água de Pau facilitates daily life by enabling the payment of essential services such as water and electricity, mobile phone top-ups, and numerous public administration services—decentralizing and shortening distances.

 

Located in the Parish Council Building on Rua da Ribeira, the RIAC Shop was inaugurated in November 2005. It operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

 

The Payshop Portugal platform has over 7,000 points, more than 5,000 of which are agents. Its network consists of local commercial establishments selected based on safety and quality criteria.
