IRS 2024: Deadline for Invoice Registration and Validation

RIAC provides, in all its shops, taxpayer support services for consulting, registering, and verifying invoices on from the e-fatura platform of the Autoridade Tributária AT (Tax Authority).

 

February 25 is the deadline set by the Tax Authority to register and verify invoices for the year 2024. Until this date, invoices in "pending" status can be completed and classified according to the respective area of activity of the acquisition.

 

From this information, the value of the deductions to be collected is automatically calculated by the Tax Authority.

 

At any time, you can consult your provisional IRS deductions for 2024 and the deductions to be collected from previous years at RIAC shops.

 

Issuing an invoice is mandatory, and requesting an invoice is a civic duty. It ensures that the taxes collected are delivered to the State, combating the underground economy, fraud, and tax evasion. It also ensures greater fairness in the contribution each citizen makes to the country.
