On November 17, due to a technical anomaly at SIBS, this entity mistakenly sent files related to social benefits that had already been paid, resulting in duplicate payments.

The Azores Social Security Institute (ISSA) has already requested the paying bank to return the incorrectly processed amounts and is currently coordinating with the respective receiving banks to regularize the situation.

Beneficiaries do not need to take any immediate action. They should wait for the regularization to be carried out by their bank. It is possible that the bank may contact them to confirm the refund, in which case the beneficiary should validate the operation.

We deeply regret the inconvenience caused. We are making every effort to ensure a quick resolution of this incident.
